Subject: Amendment in Import Policy Condition of Cabinet Hinges covered under Chapter 83 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule -I (Import Policy)-regarding.
S.O. (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and Section 5 of Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends the Policy Condition of items covered under specific HS codes of Chapter 83 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule - I (Import Policy), as under:

Effect of the Notification:
Import of Cabinet Hinges under ITC (HS) Codes 83021010, 83021090, 83024200 and 83024900, having a CIF value of less than Rs.280 per kilogram, is 'Restricted'.
This is issued with the approval of the Minister of Commerce & Industry.
