Goodbye Double Numbers: CBIC Declares eOffice "Issue Number" = DIN CBIC has drawn a clear line through a long-standing irritation in tax communications: duplicate unique numbers on the same letter. With Circular No. 252/09/2025-GST, communications dispatched using the public option in CBIC’s eOffice will no longer carry two separate identifiers.
