Subject: - Amendment in Export Policy of Ventilators including any artificial respiratory apparatus or oxygen therapy apparatus or any other breathing appliance/device and Sanitizers.

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments:

A. Serial No. 207 B of the Schedule 2 of the ITCHS Export Policy in the Notification No. 52 dated 19.03.2020 related to export of Ventilators is amended as follows, with immediate effect:

B. The Export Policy related to the export of Sanitizers is amended as follows, with immediate effect:

2. The provision under Para 1.05 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20 regarding transitional arrangement is not applicable for this notification.

3. Effect of this Notification:

The Serial No. 207 B of the Schedule 2 of the ITCHS Export Policy as specified in the Notification No. 52 dated 19.03.2020 is amended to the extent that the export of all ventilators'including any artificial respiratory apparatus or oxygen therapy apparatus or any other breathing appliance/device falling under any ITCHS Code, including the ITCHS Codes mentioned above, is prohibited, with immediate effect.

The export of all Sanitizers falling under any ITCHS Code, including the ITCHS Codes mentioned above, is prohibited, with immediate effect.

The transitional arrangement under Para 1.05 of the FTP shall not be applicable.
