Notification No. 139/2006-Cus Dated 30/12/2006

Amendments in the Notification No. 20/2006-Cus.- G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act,1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 20/2006-Customs, dated the 1st March, 2006, namely:-

1. In the said notification, in the TABLE, for S. No. 60 and the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-

Information technology software, other than that on floppy disc or cartridge tape

Nil”

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the 1^st day of January, 2007.
