Notification No. 49/2007-Cus Dated 29/3/2007
Seeks to deepen tariff concessions on imports from Singapore by amending notifications 74/2005-Cus and 75/2005-Cus.-
G.S.R.
(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section
25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being
satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs
that the following notifications of the Government of India, in the Ministry of
Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below,
shall be further amended in the manner and to the extent specified in the
corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely:-

In the said notification, in the preamble, for the figures and words “75 per cent.”, the figures and words “50 per cent.” shall be substituted. |

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of April, 2007.
