Notification No. 84/2003-Cus-Amendment in the Notifications.

Amendment in the Notifications.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely :-

1.	30/97-CUSTOMS, dated the 1st April, 1997	In the said notification, in condition (iv), - (a) for the words “Okha and Mundhra”, the words “Okha, Mundhra and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul” the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata”.
2.	31/97-CUSTOMS, dated the 1st April, 1997	In the said notification, in condition (iv), - (a) for the words “Okha and Mundhra”, the words “Okha, Mundhra and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul”, the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata.”
3.	34/97-CUSTOMS, dated the 7th April, 1997	In the said notification, in condition (iv), - (a) for the words “Okha and Dharamtar”, the words “Okha, Dharamtar and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul”, the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the second proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: - “Provided also that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata.”
4.	36/97-CUSTOMS, dated the 1st April, 1997	In the said notification, in condition (6), - (a) for the words “Tuticorin and Visakhapatnam”, the words “Tuticorin, Visakhapatnam and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words and brackets“Pimpri (Pune) and Pitampur (Indore),” the words and brackets “Pimpri (Pune), Pitampur (Indore), Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari or through the Land Customs Stations at Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(c) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata.”
5.	77/98-CUSTOMS, dated the 16th October, 1998	In the said notification, in condition (viii), - (a) for the words “Okha and Mundhra”, the words “Okha, Mundhra and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul” the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata.”
6.	48/99-CUSTOMS, dated the 29th April, 1999	In the said notification, in condition (iv), - (a) for the words “Okha and Mundhra”, the words “Okha, Mundhra and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul”, the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: - “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata.”
7.	48/00-CUSTOMS, dated the 25th April, 2000	In the said notification, in condition (4), - (a) for the words “Okha and Mundhra”, the words “Okha, Mundhra and Jamnagar” shall be substituted.
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul”, the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: - “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata.”
8.	50/00-CUSTOMS, dated the 27th April, 2000	In the said notification, in condition (6), - (a) for the words “Sikka and Pipavav”, the words “Sikka, Pipavav and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Waluj and Malanpur” , the words and brackets “Waluj, Malanpur, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari or through Land Customs Stations at Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(c) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata.”
9.	51/00-CUSTOMS, dated the 27th April, 2000	In the said notification, in condition (iv), - (a) for the words “Okha and Mundhra”, the words “Okha, Mundhra and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul”, the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata.”
10.	43/02-CUSTOMS, dated the 19th April, 2002	In the said notification, in condition (iv), - (a) for the words “Nagapattinam and Okha ”, the words “Nagapattinam, Okha, and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul”, the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata”.
11.	45/02-CUSTOMS, dated the 22nd April, 2002	In the said notification, in condition (iv), - (a) for the words “Okha and Dharamtar”, the words “Okha, Dharamtar and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul”, the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the second proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :- “Provided also that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata”.
12.	46/02-CUSTOMS, dated the 22nd April, 2002	In the said notification, in condition (iv), - (a) for the words “Mundhra and Okha ”, the words “Mundhra, Okha, and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul”, the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva(Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted namely:- “Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata.”
13.	47/02-CUSTOMS, dated the 22nd April, 2002	In the said notification, in condition (6), - (a) for the words “Okha and Pipavav”, the words “Okha, Pipavav and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted;
		(c) for the words “Ranaghat and Singhabad“ the words and brackets “Ranaghat, Singhabad, Jogbani, Nautanva (Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
		(d) after the proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted namely :-
		“Provided further that where the goods are delivered for export through any Inland Container Depot specified in this condition, its export shall only be permitted through the sea-ports at Mumbai, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Chennai or Kolkata”.
14.	53/03-CUSTOMS, dated the 1st April, 2003	In the said notification, in condition (5), - (a) for the words “Mundhra and Okha”, the words “Mundhra, Okha, and Jamnagar” shall be substituted;
		(b) for the words “Pondichery and Garhi Harsaru”, the words and brackets “Pondichery, Garhi Harsaru, Bhatinda, Dappar (Dera Bassi), Chheharata (Amritsar), Karur, Miraj and Rewari” shall be substituted; and
		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul” the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva (Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted.

		(c) for the words “Singhabad and Raxaul” the words and brackets “Singhabad, Raxaul, Jogbani, Nautanva (Sonauli), Petrapole and Mahadipur” shall be substituted; and
