Notification No. 139/2000-Cus Dated 09-11-2000

Amendment in Notification No. 68/99-Cus.- WHEREAS the designated authority vide notification published in Part I, Section I of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, dated the 24th day of October, 2000, has initiated review in the matter of continuation of anti-dumping duty on Acrylonitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) originating in or exported from, Japan, imposed vide notification No. 159/95-Customs, dated the 14th November, 1995 and has requested for suitable extension of anti-dumping duty, pending the result of review investigations;
 

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1), (5) and (6) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) [No. 68/99-Customs, dated 26th May, 1999], namely :-
 

In the said notification, after first paragraph, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely :-
 

“2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 13th day of May, 2001, unless it is revoked earlier.”
