Notification No. 06/2018-Central Excise Dated 02/02/2018

Seeks to rescind notification No. 29/2002-Central Excise dated 13.05.2002-

G.S.R. (E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5Aof the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) read with sub-section (3) of section 111of the Finance Act, 1998 (21 of 1998), sub-section (3) of section 133of the Finance Act, 1999 (27 of 1999)and sub-section (3) of section 147of the Finance Act, 2002 (20 of 2002), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of Indiain the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 29/2002–Central Excise, dated the 13thMay, 2002, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide, number G.S.R.362(E),datedthe13thMay, 2002, except as respects things done or omitted to bed one before such rescission.
