For every one percent increase in the oil content beyond 46% in Shea Nut, the permitted quantity for its import may decrease by 150 kgs on pro-rata basis and for every one percent decrease in oil content below 44% in Shea Nut, the permitted quantity for its import may increase by 150 kgs on prorata basis. �NOTE :-** For item No. 1 of import items viz. Shea Nuts, customs authority to draw samples for every bill of entry and test the same for its oil content. The customs authority to endorse on the Bill of Entry the oil content of each consignment. Regional Authority to redeem authorizations based on the weighted average of oil content so endorsed by the customs authority. However, clearance of import consignments should not be held back till the results are obtained, but to be allowed upon customs examination & drawing of Samples.

Import entitlement of Wheat under the Advance Authorisation for such export items, i.e. Multi Grain Atta or Fortified Whole Wheat Atta will be calculated in proportion to the percentage of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta) in the export item, i.e. for every 1 Kg of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta), import of 1.07 Kg of Wheat will be allowed. c. The export description in the shipping bill will clearly indicate the percentage content of Whole Wheat Flour and other ingredients being added.] ²⁰[Note 3: Export of 'Wheat Flour (Atta) with Millets' is also allowed subject to the conditions that: a. The export item will contain a minimum of 65% Wheat Flour (Atta) & a minimum of15% Millets in addition to other ingredients (if any). b. The Advance Authorization (AA) shall be issued only to flour millers.] ii. The AA shall be issued with pre-import condition. iii. The SION is valid until 'wheat' is prohibited for exports. Thereafter, no further AA will be issued under the SION. AAs already issued will continue to operate in the normal course. iv. The Bills of Entry against which wheat has been imported shall be confirmed by Custom Authorities while allowing exports. v. Procurement of wheat from Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) is not permissible in any case against the Advance Authorization.
