Notification No. 94/2017 Customs Dated 22/12/2017

Seeks to amend notification No. 152/2009-Customs dated 31.12.2009 so as to provide deeper tariff concessions in respect of specified goods imported from Korea RP under the India-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) w.e.f. 01.01.2018 .-

G.S.R.(E).-    In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.69/2011-Customs, dated the 29thJuly, 2011, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 593 (E), dated the 29thJuly, 2011, namely :-

    In the said notification, in S. No. 746, for the entry in column (4), the entry “6.88”, shall be substituted.

    2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the 1stday of January, 2018.
